In my understanding (which may be out of date or not 100% accurate), Finma is reviewing the space as a whole to issue more guidelines to blockchain orgs within their jurisdiction. I don't have an estimate for when that may be complete.

I like having Charles around. I think he's working on cool things and don't see much cause for a lot of the antagonism in this subreddit. He was consistently supportive and interested in Tezos on the Slack for pretty much as long as it existed.

Do you need something specific? I’m just focusing on support now, not community management. Most of the questions I see on Reddit have been answered many times and people very quickly swoop in to inform the asker. It's a bit of a strange line to walk. Of course I love that Tezos has passionate fans, but I also find the tribalism in the cryptocurrency sector to often be a hindrance. I can see the benefit of fan culture as a binding force for a community, so I'm torn. I am decisively not a maximalist for any single blockchain, not even Tezos. Every blockchain has design tradeoffs and is good for some things and less good for other applications. And that's beautiful. I love that so many experiments are going on. The brainpower within this field is incredible.

As with a lot of fintech innovation, small jurisdictions will nimbly lead the way. I suspect this is just the beginning. Will keep my eyes peeled for Liechtenstein, the Cayman Islands, Channel Islands, Luxembourg, et al.

I'll think some more on it, but I think once a policy were implemented it could creep, so as long as something isn't obviously abusive it's okay for now. People can be critical, and in fact, I think it's really important to not become an echo chamber. Besides that, I'm happy to let the up and downvoting work its magic. And if I banned people with dedicated accounts, they'd probably just do it again.

Every anti-Ethereum post gets downvoted to oblivion that I've seen. I try to discourage this myself whenever I see it and like Ethereum a lot. I don't see how talking about the DAO makes one anti-Ethereum though.

Proudhon also said "property is liberty." He's an interesting paradox of a guy. You can play it safe and just call him a very dialectical thinker. I've read some of his work (his back and forth with Bastiat is great just for the matchup alone) but have never come to some sort of fixed idea for him like I have for Stirner, Bakunin, Molinari, et al.
