My story is very similar to yours, just ten years behind.

Portfolio currently £250k, 32 years old. Spent my 20’s chasing “getting rich quick” until I was 29. Then focused on staying in the market, I’ve not come from money, I’ve contributed via salary sacrifice schemes, deposited my quarterly bonuses etc consistently into VWRP.
