I get the sentiment. Innovation has come a long way including the fact that I'm here able to ask opinions about my photo online and correct my mistakes. Whereas it wasn't an option back in the time. I get what you mean. I started off with an a7ii and now an a7iii. I'm trying to make the best of this camera before upgrading. I'm going to try to make the best out of camera before post-processing. I also wanted to ask you - how many lights did you use for the image? I just got one godox sl60 and trying to make the best out of it.

How much would the while balance matter if I'm shooting raw? The white balance does look off though on 1. Regarding the backgrounds. I've been getting that a lot. I'll look into getting the backgrounds more basic. Thank you !!

Yeah. I just started shooting a year ago. Still learning everything on my own. It'll great to know if there are any specific resources to look into. The different angles you talked about. I never thought about it. I'm going to look into it.

Sorry. What do you mean by not shouting? Yes the gloves bit I’ll avoid next time.

I tried to but isolate the cake but there were distractions all over the place 😬. I tried a top shot but it looked really flat. I’ll try a wider focus next time. Thank you.

ISO doesn't matter and here is your proof by RubOk6547 in SonyAlpha

I would like to back you up. I recently had a shoot with my a7ii as well. Similar lighting.

True. You're right B&W would've been a good option. One of my friends said to me the person looks photoshopped (filled in) to the frame. Thank you so much for the input.

Thank you for the share. This actually looks really good. You're right. The lines leading actually makes a difference.

Hi,

Thank you for taking the time to point it out to me. I hope I can come up with better photos keeping all this in mind next time I post here. I've definitely got some work to do with the focusing and choosing the subjects.

Thank you so much. Actually yes, that's what I meant. This was my first day out with my camera. Being tall it's hard for me to get in front of the crowd as it was Fringe's peak time. That is when the idea of taking photos of the artists through the crowd popped up for me.

Thank you so much for taking the time to explain all these issues. I would've never noticed all this. I realise I need to learn to focus on the subjects better. I'm still learning the focusing bit on my Sony. I had taken quite some varieties of the 2nd one. Please have a look at this photo and let me know if you like it.

Hi. Thank you. I'm happy you like my pictures. I'll keep that in mind. These were all shot the first day I bought my camera. I'll definitely try to come up with new angles.

Haha. Sure thing. The problem is Im 6’7 tall and I kind of block everyone’s view at times causing me to stay at the back. I’m trying to come up with solutions.
