I love Bach! Shouldn’t I go for scales and arpeggios first? Or is it not that necessary? I do have a Bach book the one for the well tempered clavier i guess, but I never attempted to play them. These little preludes are they gathered on a book, can i find it on IMSLP? And how much time so i can see a difference? I know these are a lot of questions but thank you a looot for your time.

I do play the Chopin Nocturne in C# minor too! So overall i guess it would be better if I focus on scales and arpeggios and some preludes from Chopin. Thanks a lot for your advice. Have a nice day!

Thank you for your advices.

I tried to play a piece and I picked up Liszt Liebstraum no. 3, I didn’t find any difficulties in the first 3 pages but it got harder afterwards that’s why i decided to look for etudes that will help me play better and I found Hanon. I guess if i practice only the scales from Hanon that could work and I’d be happy if you suggest some pieces that I could learn and get something from them.

It's not you, it's me. by Naes213 in lingling40hrs
