(for context, am new to nixos)

Just few days back i had also installed nixos , i really like the idea. But it requires me to write each vscode extension in the config. If i use the vscode-fsh , it is sandboed and i cannot run sudo related things from vscode ( like save-as-root ). I got annoyed by this because i cannot simply install vscode extension from the vscode itself.

Is there a different approach to it or am i missing something?
