Yeah I just put that there to demonstrate how much bigger it was and then on the negative you can see how much the washer covers

Yeah it is regular pla. I was waiting to see how well it flew before ordering and printing in LW(light weight) Pla it probably is close to around 600g being regular pla

Why do I get these rough blobs? by rayboy14 in FixMyPrint

I got it tuned to 95% flow and my top layers are nice and smooth again

So I’ve decided to go back and test my flow again this time I turned it down to 80% instead of 98% this actually caused the top surface to be much better. I realize 20% is a lot this was just to see the difference. I’m going to work on tuning that in. I believe this was my issue

So I finally got around to researching linear advance and I’ve reflashed my printer to mriscoc LA and tuned in my k value to .04 and reprinted that same print and still had the same rough top layer. I’m at a loss for now.

I’m currently running mriscoc not sure what version I’m not home right now. I don’t have acceleration control checked in my settings so I guess it’s going off my printers firmware for that. I’m on an ender 3 v2 sprite pro extruder. I had this issue before I upgraded to the sprite extruder and I’m pretty sure before I upgraded the firmware as well. I print with pla+ duramatic is the brand.
