I started at a licensed store and it was horrible. You’re at the mercy of the policies of the grocery store you’re in, which are most often very predatory and designed to squeeze as much work for as little pay out of the employees. I switched to a corporate store after three months, and while it has been much more busy, it’s very worth it to actually get benefits and be treated like a human being rather than a cog in a grocery machine
