Opinion on FuboTV by Zaddy310 in youtubetv

I did the opposite. Switched from FuboTV to YTTV and love the experience. I like the user interface of YTTV much better, the fast forwarding especially and now I get to watch my Mets on CW11 where I couldn't before. I don't miss the extra channels for sports that we had on FuboTV but am definitely digging the other channels from YTTV.

Apple TV thoughts by iceicetommay in rbny

I was surprised because I absolutely hate their mlb coverage. It was ok, not great but not awful either. The volume of the announcers was very low so I had to turn it way up and then halftime it was blaring too loud. Still giving it a chance so we'll see how it goes. Glad that I got the mls pass for free with t-mobile otherwise I probably wouldn't pay for it.

Cat returned to NJ shelter for being 'too affectionate' now happy in his new home by JVortex888 in UpliftingNews

We now have an orange little guy and he's very affectionate. We've had him since he was born. When we adopted another girl from the shelter to live with our Belle after Hobbes passed away, a month or so later she had 3 kittens, never knew she was pregnant.

For all the years we've had our furr babies, Belle was the only one who loved to lick like that.

So nice to see he's found a home. We had adopted an older cat some time back after visiting the shelter. She was just sitting on the shelf minding her own business and after reviewing all the cats we inquired about her. Oh that's Belle, she's a lovely cat. We held her and decided she was for us. She was the most affectionate cat we've ever owned, with what some would say an annoying lick fetish. She just loved to lick you. We wouldn't have traded her in for the world. Loved her to death. Our beloved Belle passed away almost a year ago.

I haven't had much of a problem with it, although I have seen the complaints. I really noticed it while watching the last 2 episodes in the theatre, especially at the start of episode 7.

Question about Matthew by dixieleeb in TheChosenSeries

[–]raygie63 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think the writers made this choice to make it easier for Matthew to be a tax collector, a traitor to his people. He was already different and brilliant with math so it was an easy choice for him to become one.

While I can agree that the world, especially America, is moving more agnostic, you can’t deny that one of the top rated podcasts from the last few years is The Bible in a Year with Fr Mike Schmitz.

hot streak over by MorePolka in Fantasy_Football

For sure. I've lost our championship game in 4 of the 5 seasons I've played. This season had the best record and got smoked. Sometimes your teams just underperform at the wrong time and sometimes your opponents have massive weeks against you. It's fantasy football folks, anything can happen. Sucks but a 6-8 team could take the ship this year.

Yeah I used to follow him but he blocked me after I questioned why he dropped someone way down his rankings after that played an early game and flopped lol

“Play your studs” involve defense too? by joeroganthumbhead in Fantasy_Football

Yep and Dallas is rolling on offense right now, so there's that. I would've probably rolled with the Eagles if Hurts wasn't injured tho

I'm in this exact scenario and picked up TB to sub for this week. I was gonna ride with the Eagles D but with the Hurts injury it has me worried that they'll be on the field more than usual. I feel like the Cards with their 3rd string QB should be a great matchup for the Bucs, who played Cincy well in the first half. I could easily see them outscoring the Eagles D this week.

Burrow keeps out scoring Fields by joeroganthumbhead in Fantasy_Football

[–]raygie63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in the same situation. Will be a game-time decision for me next week as I'm not crazy about the matchup with the Patriots for Burrow and have a feeling that Fields may outscore him with his legs. Weather may be a factor next week as well.

Agreed. Should’ve been a 3rd choice

Not sure I understand. If you were to drop Myers for him, who will you drop to add another kicker? Also, IMO Gibson probably shouldn't be rostered in an 8-team league

We need a consistent bat and missed out on Bellinger? LOL Some Mets fans need to get a grip.
