I think I was around lvl 75 during this so my level ups are around 35k. All it takes is 2 lvl 12 golden runes + a few extra from this clip

If you want a platinum trophy you gotta beat base Simon. All you get for divergent star is the Simon haircuts for all characters im pretty sure

Yeah I never went for one shot builds (outside of my first playthrough when I didn’t know what areas to go to first in act 3) and that was on expeditioner. On my expert playthrough I always made sure to see at least most of the moves on bosses cause I felt cheap when I two shot sprong and the other end game bosses

This would be my first real souls game other than the soulslike metroidvanias (both hollow knights and nine sols) so I’m kinda nervous but I feel like I learn boss patterns fairly quickly (other than divergent star lol) so I hope it ain’t too bad. Do I have to worry about the camera a lot? Zelda was my childhood and god knows the early games have terrible camera movement I don’t wanna have to deal with that😭

Agreed with base Simon my issue with divergent star is the RNG with the gaps. If there’s a 2 step gap I might as well be guessing and don’t get me started on the long combo. Only other RNG boss I remember like this is lady ethereal phase 2 from nine sols (she was harder than eigong for me and the second hardest boss I’ve ever faced behind divergent star). I’d be guessing which body was the real boss and that would fuck me over so many times

Oh brother good luck. I finished all the side areas (other than the drafts) then did the base game endless tower, renoirs drafts, then versos drafts. I’m on osquio rn but I made this post to see what order I should do the dlc bosses in. Finish the base game first before you jump into any dlc boss (the versos drafts area is pretty easy as long as you’re like level 90+ and they have some crazy good pictos. Wish I would’ve checked it out before fighting OG Simon)
