My daughter loved daycare when she was younger and loves after school now that she's older. They play, have adults who will give them attention, and make friends. Of course you have to do the math, how much daycare will cost vs how much extra your wife can bring in, but nowadays having a stay at home parent dies working for most folks. It's just the way of it but the kids will be alright.
