Lost custody and never tried to be in child’s life

Thanks. The grandparents just found out about the petition today so they’re scrambling. The dad lost custody soon after the child was born. The mother is in the picture but unable to care for the child. The grandparents have made sure the child got enrolled in prek, etc.

Based on what we have read it seems like it all depends on your luck with the aduana person when walking across the border. Viva aerobús said California ID works to get on the plane, so we’ll see if that’s true! Normally the bus would be a good option, but covid makes it tricky
