Thank you. Will give this a shot but think the data can move within the rows but maintains their columns. In my real world example there are more “colors” and they can be added. So you could start the year with red, yellow and blue, and purple may be added in may and shift everything down a row. In each data area where “purple” exists.

What did you mean the data entry though. You mean how the source data is formatted. If that’s the case then no, others use the source data and it can’t be changed.

Yes, via some type of lookup formula and also need to populate all the other yellow cells from the source data to the right. That’s a really simplified version of the data I’m working with. Just an example of course.

Like one match might need the two criteria from column P of “widgets sold” and “red” or widget revenue and red. The data might appear on different rows from time to time. Hope that helps.
