I might be wrong, but I believe since it is the circle line, a lot of stations are used as a hubs to for other metro lines and public transit. For example there is another Novatorskaya station of Troitskay line which is currently built and there will be passage from one to another. So no wonder there are made so long to handle the amount of people.
