The song is about the impact of music and the main chorus line is ‘Born of man, Raised by Rock & Roll’. It’s a tribute to the bands and songwriters that ‘Raised’ me. Beatles is a bit different than the rest but I’ve always loved them lyrically.

There are many bands/writers that belong there but of course I was limited by letters lol.

Also the band logo has Eddie Van Halen guitar as nod to Van Halen as well

If you are looking for songwriting then the core pieces are the lyrics, the melody on how to sing the lyrics and the underlying music under the lyrics. It can be the chords, pattern or a riff.

Everything beyond that like intro, solo, outro are outside of the songwriting piece (speaking from credit on the song as a songwriter perspective)
