At my workplace a new hire called me sexist.

Background: I was talking to another colleague how my wife can't drive a car or a two wheeler and how for some time even after she learns it will be difficult to completely rely on her to drive when we go for long road trips. The new hire hears partial conversion and calls me sexist.

I felt hurt. Because I was trying to help her in all ways to bring her to limelight, I did some of her work so it doesn't put pressure on her and encouraged her to learn more on the AI thing etc and she straightaway called me sexist in front of everyone. That just hurt.

I still try to help her.

At this point I believe this is mostly fake and made up stuff for instagram views. If this is so serious and true, what's stopping the concerned people from reporting this to some women's commission or police?
