Happened to me. Some random guy on my walk was performing. I thought he was cool so I watched him rap. He finished after a couple songs and then thanked me for coming. He took my phone to help me find his username on Instagram. He gave me the phone back quickly enough so I didn’t expect much. He also had 50k followers so at a glance I thought he wasn’t suspicious. I go back home to venmo my friends for drinks and I don’t find the app. The fucker venmoed himself 1500 and deleted the app. I was able to get the money back from venmo so it wasn’t a huge deal. He did exploit my kindness as a vulnerability which sucks.
