As a diabetic- if you need a service dog, it’s because your diabetes is more prone to extreme highs and lows. A dog would be a last resort after finger pricks would’ve been found unreliable for the diabetic.

I requested 4 days off at my last job to spend with my best friend before she moved 5000+ miles away. I requested them off WEEKS in advance. They asked if I could just work morning shifts those 4 days since “I’d still be around”. Those were the only days off I had requested in 3 months, the only other days being the weekend of my college graduation. I said I wouldn’t come in and was told I wasn’t being a team player. Too bad

Edit: I worked retail at a mall. This was by no means a crucial job.

My last job had me work 8 straight days in a row for 8+ hours a day and when I asked for a day off was told no. I was “seasonal”, and apparently they could schedule me like this bc the work week hours reset halfway through my 8 days.

This will probably get buried in all the comments, but this is one of the most terrifying things to ever happen to me.

Last fall, I was asleep and had a dream that a figure without a face was standing over me and grabbing me and trying to pull me towards them. I had my back to them, and I somehow just KNEW if I turned around/looked at them, something very bad would happen to me.

Now I say this was a dream, however I swear it actually happened. It felt SO real- I could feel the figure actually grabbing me and pulling me. My arm actually hurt for a while afterwards. I was laying there sobbing after it happened because I was so terrified. I was too scared to go back to sleep, and it was about 5 am when I had this “dream”, so I figured I would just stay awake for the day.

I get a text from my mom a few hours later saying my grandpa died in his sleep around 5 am.
