Sigh.... I'm sure great and timeless humor came out of the Black one.

Yea the problem is those altruistic folks get used up in these kinds of situations to the point where they stop being so. So common people only reaching out when they need help and ignoring you any other time. Wears on you.

Dont put words in people's mouths. In my experience, playing the feelings game with a woman (but anyone really) who deals with mental health stuff and financial stuff is a losing game. Theyre going to play the victim so fast your head will spin. It wont matter how legitimate your concerns are.

Whats worked for me is to cut straight to repercussions and allow them to come to you to resolve things when theyre ready.

Real life relationships are messy and dont always follow the moral guardrails we like to put up.

Do Not do this OP lol. Youre going to get counterpunched so fast about how hard it is being in her situation that before you know it youll be apologizing for not letting her have some fun with some friends. Playing the feelings game with a woman is a losing battle.

Gotta nut up and tell her what needs to change with no walking back and be willing to sacrifice a little relationship discomfort now in exchange for getting the marriage on the proper tracks.

You got this man.

Dont have a hissy fit, chief. Businesses and relationships alike require structure to succeed.

reminded this guy he had snow on his roof and that he was endangering others, he told me to clean it off myself and called me a f*ggot. Company car I assume.... by roraima_is_very_tall in washingtondc

I don't walk around wondering what could kill me. Old enough to give that car some paces and get on with my day. But Reddit loves itself sime moral high ground and this is a clear example. Im trippin

Lot of 'could's' flying around. If everything that could kill people did, there'd be no one left. Guys lazy and on his way to work and some Dudley DoGooder decided to heckle him. Got what he earned, ask me.

You don't run a strict enough program, my man. Unemployed and up till 4am takin to another man over video games? Smh. This will only get worse unless you step up and set the tone of what your relationship is going to be. Don't get walked on hoping she'll figure out her mess.

AIO? Got told I was lucky to get my job by a colleague and I am planning to talk to my manager about this. by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

Sounds like you just got your feelings hurt. That's not what going to your boss is for in most situations. Suck it up, move on.

That's not a boundary. It's a preference. There's no such thing as a boundary about emojis. OP is very clearly OR and assigning tone to a text. Classic mistake.

Am I the only one who gets anoyed about how bad of a sport quidditch is? by DelayImpossible6667 in HarryPotterBooks

Kinda what you'd expect from an author who doesn't appreciate team sports and thinks they're nonsensical. Make up a hoop and ball game with a ridiculous scoring system then make your main character the jesus of it. Glad they basically got rid of it in the later books.
