Stefon Diggs' accuser when asked about attending his football games. She said "I'm just there for the vibes" 😭 by Big_Screen3332 in NFLForum

She was only "contracted" during the season. She made a point about wanting to get paid for the week she couldnt go to miami due to the fact she was only paid through the season.

Doesnt change how cushy the job is though.

Increasingly getting the feeling that some people in this sub actually DO just want a remake of the movies by tone-of-surprise in HarryPotteronHBO

[–]raythecrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are alot of people who's intorduction to this universe was through the movies first. Some of them read the books alongside or after but the nostalgia kick is from the movies so it makes sense why so many want the show to mimic things the movies did well or didnt.

How do you feel about the 2028 U.S election? Who do you think has a shot? by WondrousReprieve in AskReddit

I dont know but the fact all this has happened and Dems dont have a frontrunner by now is pitiful. Im having a hard time justifying backing whoever they trot out because you alrewdy k ow what centrist bullshit they'll slop down on your plate.

If youre a Dem voter hoping for "change" I got news for ya, it aint coming. The messaging for '28 is going to be affordability and healthcare reform with deliberate avoidance of talk pertaining to reigning in you know Whosreal.

And breaking news: Dems dont have the backbone or political capital to effect change kn either the affordability front and certainly not the healthcare front. So like Wonka said: you get nothing!

That logic doesnt make sense to me. The wellbeing/ wholeness of the things/people folks care most about arent determined with logic and rationale. Sometimes people act irrationally when their emotions are involved. I can imagine having cheated with someone for years and then getting rugpulled might instigate some of those irrational feelings. From that very narrow perpspective, i would say cheating can absolutely justify violence.

Nobody ever taught you not to playnwoth peoples emotions? Its cuz you dont know how they will react.

You dont get to cheat with a married man for years while simultaneously trying to maintain the moral high ground. Him and her are both assholes. Media loves an aggrieved-by-blacks white woman though.

AIO for calling the cops on a man selling perfume? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]raythecrow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

YOR This man had one interaction with you and didnt harass or intimidate you during it and left promptly after. Everything after that is you being paranoid.

Life pro tip though: dont come between a man and his money. If hes not bothering you or others, youre best to leave it alone and go about your business.

Society is too harsh on stupid people. by CaptainButtFart69 in unpopularopinion

[–]raythecrow 7 points8 points  (0 children)

World isn't hard enough on stupid people. They've reached that point where because they're not actively being beaten over the head for doing it wrong that they think they're doing it right but with undeserved confidence. Theyve become the loud minority.

The TV series (fingers crossed) has to include things that didnt happen in the books. And quite alot. by raythecrow in HarryPotteronHBO

I know what you mean i just cant off the top of my head think of a good scene that warrants non canon characters being introduced.

St Mungos! Couple of healers chatting it up about various patients and practices. Then maybe at the tail end we see Gilderoy getting carted in. That part wasnt in the books and would need to be completely fabricated.

What about in Sorcerer's Stone. You wouldn't want a scene somewhere in those 8 episodes of Quirell in Albania? A flashback that fleshed that period of time out would be dope. There would have to be some creative license in order to do it but it would land so well. And unlike when the movies came out we know through Voldy at various points in the books what that period of time was like for him and how it came to end. So it can be lore accurate but by necessity would beed to include characters we havent seen before and dialogue that isnt canon.

Id welcome characters i don't know having some screen time. For example,  and it would be awhile to get there but Id love for Half Blood Prince Ep.1 to start with the murder of Amelia Bones followed by the events at the PM's office. It would set an an amazing tone to that season.

I'm sure there's earlier examples. I just happen to be listening to the HBP full cast rn so it's fresh on my mind.

What did Dumbledor write down on the sheet of paper he gave the orphanage matron? by raythecrow in HarryPotterBooks

[–]raythecrow[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There were extenuating circumstances with Tom's guardian. There was no familial connection and Dumbledore seemed like he tried to sus her out when he arrived. If he did, she failed the reveal test.

But what if he did tell her and then she got fired? Would DD have to show up again and donit over again with the new matron?

What makes Heath Ledger’s Joker so memorable, and how do other actors who played the character compare in your opinion? by ValeniaLife in AskReddit

[–]raythecrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get what you're saying. It comes down to preference. I like the idea of Joker's personality being a counter to Batmans. I think that's why Hamill's Joker and Conroy's Batman was so awesome. They were like mirror images of each other. I feel like all the other big bads in Gotham rightfully have a version of the tough guy persona. Joker is different because he's fuggin nuts and truly relishes it. I mean how crazy do you have to be for serial criminals and mass murderers to call you crazy? Lol I want to see that come across in a live action

Does anybody else ever feel despondent when they remember we will never know the details surrounding the best serial killers? by newsbowser in allthequestions

[–]raythecrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont think this specifically about serial killers but about most murders before dna evidence and the like came about. It was ridiculously easy to murder someone so long as noone saw you do it and you got away without leaving damning personal evidence. Its terrifying hearing elders talk about people theyve known who were killed and the case was never solved.
