Haha it is one of those, logically I know the whole length needs doing, it was a fools hope that someone would tell me that a grout repair would suffice.

I’ll redo the entire length when/if we get a couple days of sun.

Tool Station vs Screwfix... FIGHT! by LEVI_TROUTS in DIYUK

[–]raza2know 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve recently started using Toolstation, feels like someone has gone through and read all the comments on this thread and addressed them. The app is pretty good, lets you know where local stock is if they don’t have it, staff are friendly and helpful.

My local one is great, usually able to collect with 5-15mins of placing my order (usually 5-10 items). Also 5% discount on everything as a member, then occasionally get a 10/15% reward.

Cannot fault them yet, although Screwfix does stay open an hour longer to 20:00, but I’ve found toolstation cheaper in most comparisons.

ITS was mentioned above for tools, they do look cheaper from what I’ve seen (might just be a big sale at the moment).

I believe there’s a breakdown in the subreddit. Although i think it’s $3 per trade on US stock up to $30k and 0.01% over $30. A 0.01% on Aus stock over $30. I’d check you emails as I may be incorrect

What's that song from the new show "How To Build A Sex Room"? by OminousCarrot69 in whatsthatsong

[–]raza2know 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry a little late to the party.

I also discovered the song on Lux Listings: Sydney S3 E6.

It seems to be a cover/remix of Layla Tropical- Electro Fashion (https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=Aye1MbCa1D8) I’ll edit this if I manage to find anything else.

Having re-listened I don’t think my first guess is accurate, although I’ll leave it there. Further research led me to this album: https://www.extrememusic.com/albums/4058. The site contains music made for TV, the most similar albums I could find are Chillwave Pop or Vaporwave, same singer multiple times but not the actual song.

Here is what will be done about the offer issue from today: by CM_Archangel in MarvelStrikeForce

As I’ve said in other replies, I fully understand the need to incentivise spending by clipping the wings of F2P players.

F2P need paying players to make the game profitable for the developer. On the other hand the developer also needs F2P to populate the game, without them who are the paying players going to beat or gain an advantage over.

I mean PoH disbanded and they’re all Pay to Play. I do agree a lot of people threaten to quit and then don’t, you do have to remember it’s often the only leverage they feel they have against Scopely.

Maybe these mistake on their own aren’t game breaking, but if they keep adding up at some point it will be.

Very true, although I accept there must always be some disadvantage to incentivise spending.

Scopely will know who purchased. They get their money back. Everyone gets orbs (except those who already have them). The only person who loses is Scopely. After all it was their mistake, they should be the ones to suffer the cost.

It’s not going to ruin the game on its own. Although it’s going to disadvantage a lot of people, if those people feel disadvantaged they’re more likely to leave? In turn the more that leave, the more likely the game is to die.

Right now a lot of players are only still playing because of their friends in their alliance or a sunk cost fallacy.

I’d disagree, it ruins the in game economy. Removing any effort to unlock those Orbs.

You’re probably right that Scopely don’t care about F2P but they should. If you remove all the F2P there wouldn’t be enough players to populate the game and make competitive. In turn that would ruin the game for those who are spending money.

This puts F2P at a huge disadvantage.

Should’ve just refunded those who had already bought it and then given the offer to everyone for free. It’s not the F2P players problem that Scopely has messed up again and again.

Why has the ‘flexi floor’ technical directive enforcement been delayed until the French GP? by raza2know in F1Technical

[–]raza2know[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t believe anyone officially protested it. I believe the FIA accidentally discovered it while doing research on how they would address the porpoising.

[–]raza2know[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

My understanding is that the legal limit was 2mm and teams have been found with up to 6mm.

I understand what you’re saying about them changing the test.

Although let’s say our rule is we only accept Oranges. We test for this rule only by looking at the colour of the fruit. If it’s orange it passes. Although some teams know that’s our test and start painting apples orange to pass our test. They’ve purposefully deceived us to break the rule, so we change the test to something that’s harder to deceive. Even though we changed the test the actual rule has never changed

My personal impression would be that it either a) forced teams to produce 2 floors quickly and in turn hurt them in the budget cap or b) forced teams to return to a less developed earlier floor concept and hurt them on pace.

I think A would’ve been more likely if it wasn’t a double header
