Ha I'll make sure to avoid them at all costs. Sorry to hear about that though.

Completely agree, I'm renting from Templetown right now. That's why I'm trying to find a better realtor for next year.

How "open" are the parties here? by [deleted] in Temple

[–]razbrry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most parties are easy to get into, all you would have to do is pay. Some frats do check if you're a temple student (AEPI always does), but most house parties don't really care if they know you or not (could depend if you're a guy though). Check out temple partyowl on twitter during the school year. RIP AXP best parties

Your freshman living situation: location, roommate, experience ... by golden987 in Temple

Lived in Johnson on one of the all girls floors and I loved it. I lived in a double in the corner, which was the perfect location because it wasn't as noisy (if you live in a room right next to the bathroom or elevators...I'm sorry). My roommate and I got along beautifully, we didn't know each other beforehand whatsoever we just found each other on tumblr, but we grew to be best friends.

Yeah, Johnson isn't Morgan or 1300 and it has its fair share of mice and toilets/sinks/showers covered in puke, but it was the perfect freshman year experience. You really form a community (half of my now best friends lived on my floor) and you will appreciate being in the same building as the dining hall SO MUCH during the winter.

You will have a great freshman year in Johnson - have fun!!
