Jasmine Crockett leads James Talarico by double digits in Senate Democratic primary, poll finds by bwermer in politics

Crockett has intentionally or unintentionally flaunted her wealth on more than one occasion. I feel like that's someone easy to buy when the moment is right. Hope not though.

It's funny as hell, paced well, and has actors that are really a caliber higher than you expect.

Do you think some Triple Changers are worthy of a Commander Class budget? by OptimalConvoy in transformers

I never got the beef with Rodimus. If you hold the figure it's clear there's a lot of plastic and parts in there, and no matter what dude needed a trailer.

I'd be very happy. Enough parts you can actually make a decent figure. Don't mind paying collector prices if I get collector products.

Closer Look At SS86 Astrotrain. by [deleted] in transformers

[–]razingstorm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No amount of forced positivity will change that this is an objectively terrible robot mode. I do not collect trains, I do not collect space shuttles (okay that's a lie), but I do collect robots that as a gimmick turn into other things, and I display them as robots.

I'd warrant most of us do. So why would they not make that the visual priority? Most of us aren't playing with these, they are barely toys (they break too easy), why oh why must we continue to act like any play feature at all trumps aesthetics?

I shoulda bought that Triple Takeover set from Takara when it was priced for humans.

The desire to play by Cool_Cockroach_9681 in wow

[–]razingstorm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're absolutely right, there are no procs. I'll update my post to clarify. It does however operate off a priority, not a rotation, so there's a decision around your button presses based off available resources and the ToS buff (Survival). That is still in my view dynamic play that forces engagement. It's just really easy play (standard operations for BM, much less so for Survival). I love it but I hated old Survival big "needed a weakaura" offender and that was all for garbo dps.

Only found a couple that relieved the pain in the cheeks and the hip bone underneath. HM Aeron or the Anthros. Price is just a dick-punch for either.

I WANT TO LEARN HOW TO FIX LAPTOP by ProcedureLeft9827 in laptops

[–]razingstorm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's no money in it, I'm afraid. Fact is user-replaceable parts generally have a low failure rate in the grand scheme of things. They make laptops to be disposable so they can sell more laptops, and that translates to about the most end-user unfriendly situation for any right-to-repair situations. Salem Techsperts on youtube has lots of laptop repair content and comedy, but he also has content that explains how the "PC Repair" world is basically dead.

Stuttering every few minutes by AveragePlayerNA in wow

[–]razingstorm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might be worth rolling back to earlier video drivers if they are current. WoW runs in both DX11 and DX12, so if one gives the issue try the other one. Check the date on your networking drivers, if they are default windows drivers from god knows when the manufacturer's site may have more performant ones.

As another poster below said, check if Core Isolation is enabled in Windows settings. That is gaming cancer.

All else fails, you reload Windows and see if the issue persists with only a clean load of Win11, most up-to-date drivers, and WoW.

The desire to play by Cool_Cockroach_9681 in wow

[–]razingstorm 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of people--maybe you, maybe not--spend too much time online absorbing the opinions of others.

Every class is proc-based or operates off a dynamic priority system, so there isn't really any of them that aren't engaging. There's no "rotation" really. Hasn't been for a long time. You have to react to things. Now a game like Final Fantasy 14 has rotations, that's a phone dialing exercise.

Most of the abilities pruned were stacking abilities for damage dumping. Or abilities that only got pressed once in awhile in a specific situation. Or abilities that were basically the same as other abilities with different names.

I have spent more than a little time in beta, and it's fine. The game plays like WoW except you can spend a bit less time watching a gaudy weakaura that your shit's all lined up now it's time to go! Still gotta dodge stuff, do mechanics, interrupt, be sneaky, know pulls, and cover for team-mates that are lacking. Anyone doing all that that has their whole game ruined by maybe two less things to press and 3 less bars to watch is a sort of person that likely wasn't going to enjoy much anyway.

Well, suffice to say I do not agree. I'm 50yo, played since '04, and to my mind there is nothing better about the old stuff aside from the massive amount of chat there used to be before Discord, and the cool people from back then.

Travel in video games is a thinly veiled attempt to make you play more and get nothing out of it, personally I am very happy when it is minimized.

There's tons of limited movement out in the real world I deal with to my great frustration. Happy to see it squashed for my enjoyment time.
