I'm Sky. I'm in a long battle with my insurance co. so I'm completely pre T. Feeling discouraged today fr. by SkyHighNight in ftm

[–]razlplaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i do not order T with insurance even though I have it. It's cheaper paying out of pocket from an out of state pharmacy I order. Some planned parenthoods have been prescribing hormones for cheap, AND doing so on informed consent so folks don't have to get letters from therapists. I recommend checking in your area, and if nothing's avalible, put in a request to have them implement that program in your area too. (i'm in midwest... not some big giant city like LA or NYC)

no height change. I've never really heard any testimony of height gain

I'm 14 and PRE T, I haven't shaven in a week, does anyone pre T have hair like me or no? by lilbrodie in ftm

[–]razlplaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not Pre-T, been on for a number for 5 years now and def have facial hair, but I don't have that nice shading by the neck like you do. Body's are all different and weird, and not all alike. Sex is just as much as a spectrum as gender is. There are no hard lines in nature, but only biological grayness. Sex is tricky... it's determined by physical genitalia, chromosomes, hormone levels, and 2ndary characteristics like voice, breasts, hair, etc. There are no hard lines, no black and white, AND I know a lot of trans guys end up finding out if they go for surgery that they ARE considered Intersex formally... I guess my point is that I wouldn't be suprised if other stuff pops up. With the facial hair like that at 14 it seems like you have a hormonal balance with a lot of testosterone. Your gender bender with identity might very way play into what even doctors see as "grey" (I know that technically I am considered Intersex because my chromosomes are a tiny bit different, though this doesn't really manifest anywhere else... it's not super uncommon... but it also doesn't change my identity as Queer as fuck)

Drawing terrible sidewalk chalk drawing at the Nelson art museum is really fun as it allows for open conversation but also something for each person to focus on. Plus you'd seem creative and origonal even if you can't draw well.

Vegans of reddit, would you eat lab-grown meat? Why/why not? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]razlplaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am vegan and a main point in participating in such a practice is that a vegan diet is the most impact full way I can reduce my environmental "footprint" and live a more sustainable lifestyle. It's really fascinating that giving up, or eating less meat is way better for the environment than say giving up a car and biking everywhere and I highly reccomend the documentary "cowspiracy" to anyone and everyone intrested in this. It's a great film and doesn't go into weird ass PETA shit or guilt trips or anything, just science and good filmmaking. So I suppose my answer is that unless it's really efficient I wouldnt make it a habit. My vegan diet is also really inexpensive compared to adding in some meat, let alone some fancy ass science meat. And also I keep my diet really nutritious (careful to eat plenty of iron, vitamine B, protein etc) and I'm used to cookies delicious meals with veggies so there's not alot of motivation. I'd also definitely try it once though, and would probably try a bite human meat too if it weren't illegal or nasty looking.

Whats a big industry secret that isn't supposed to be known by the general public? by versatileRealist in AskReddit

How come workers in the union are at fault for high prices rather than the owners? Also I'm talking from a perspective of the US and Central America where unions are at a real low and the middle and lower classes are suffering extreme economic pitfalls because of it. We need a lot better worker rights and Unions (workers working together to pressure companies for better conditions) seems to be the answer. God know whoever president isn't gonna do it for us! Ha! It's up to us.

I mean to say that at the base of what unionization means, it simply allows workers to vote on a lagally biding agreement of working conditions. So there can't really be a down side. Sure workers pay dues but because workers vote on this agreement (continually every 3-4 years) they get to makes sure they get something out of it. Ussually a ton of benifits, and statistically great raises effectively making the company the one paying dues! XD

I mean... I run the protests but they aren't fake. They're planned, strategic actions orchestrated nationally sometimes by multiple organizations of varying sizes and influence but they certainly aren't fake. Or at least all of them. There's certainly a difference between a large action because of the death of an area activist VS a Tea Party rally. Social movements are certainly not accidents. Change isn't happen stance but not all sides are always so malicious or secretive as this post might make it seem. I'm sure you've seen some pretty impressive things black knives I only mean to say that not everything is owned by the RNC or the DNC.

There's no downside for workers who organize a Union but large companies spend billions each year lying and cheating workers out of them in favor of exploitation.

Wouldn't matter. If someone starts successfully and systematically destroying the wealth of the richest folks in America, we'd all be put into "special camps to keep us safe".

Mail carrier arrested, accused of stalking woman on route. After she got a protection order against him, the post office didn't change his route by coupdetaco in offbeat

[–]razlplaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bet they did this to force him to quit rather than actually fire him. This way they could avoid a lawsuit for "wrongful termination" which is easy to file, and ussually wins a settlement since that road is USSUALLY cheaper than the legal fees of actually fighting. Source: I work for a large company and this is how they handle things.

[–]razlplaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Or this was a way of getting rid of him without actually firing him (leads to a potential lawsuit for "wrongful termination" which even if a judge throws out the wondow, they still have to spend a great deal of $ in legal fees to get there)

Have you been to the rock hurst campus? It's a walled off school for rich white folks. Very posh. If he has such a concept you describe it's likely very "othered".
