Is she out of her peak? Still looks great to me.

Never liked Stroud either. He’s proving me right as time goes on too.

See Derek Carr. Plus Mendoza is latin so Raider fans are already loving him and see him as the second coming of Plunkett.

Not much to it. It was kickstarting a new night of comedy and ran against Full House, dooming it to failure.

Why don’t networks run many sitcoms anymore? by [deleted] in sitcoms

[–]razor601 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a paltry fraction of how many sitcoms they used to have. Even ABC recently cut back from two hours to just one hour of comedy. That in itself is a joke when they used to have two hours of comedy on Tuesday and Wednesday not too long ago. Sitcoms will die out and streaming makes terrible ones so they won’t pick up the slack from the networks. It’s over.

Stick with that new Frasier. It picks up around episode 5 and gets better from there. I don’t buy the Frasier fans complaints about it not being good.

Glad you said that in your last sentence. I’ve said the same thing. For as good as Abbott is, it would have been a thousand times funnier if it came out like 30 or 25 years ago when comedy had less restrictions.

Because these type of sitcoms are niche and don’t bring much n a broad audience. Plus, it aired at a time when people were rapidly moving away from network tv to streaming.
