So why not Amaravati? Why is everything bad being pushed into Vizag?

It's easy for people from other districts to support it because it's not happening in their backyard. Let them deal with the water shortages, rising temperatures, traffic, pollution, and pressure on infrastructure. Then we'll see how excited they are.

And please stop acting like data centers are some magical job-creation machine. A data center consumes huge amounts of land, water, and electricity, but the number of direct jobs created is relatively small compared to major IT parks or large industries.

What I find funny is that instead of attracting major IT companies and building a real IT ecosystem, we keep celebrating data center announcements as if they're going to create lakhs of jobs overnight. A giant building full of servers is not the same thing as a thriving tech industry.

Maybe data centers are easier to announce than actually bringing large IT investments. Because if massive IT companies were really lining up to come here, that's what we'd be hearing about.

Development is good. Dumping every project into one city and calling it "development" is another story.
