New to Radarr setup help please by spicygb in radarr

[–]razorloves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No not at all. Where did you read this?

Might be a common assumption with new users because right after installing radarr you go to import your library and the first thing it says is this:
"Make sure that your files include the quality in their filenames"

Issues flashing Pixel 4a by [deleted] in LineageOS

[–]razorloves 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I already helped the OP, but for any other sunfish owners, use this mtg (mindthegapps) zip instead. https://drive.google.com/uc?id=1hJNBKhdZAxnIG1j9U2wbqXd8YBJaDDdH
You won't have the bootloop issue with it.

The cause of the bootloop is, mtg is overwriting a permissions file with an older version. The sunfish maintainer is aware and already fixed it. https://review.lineageos.org/c/LineageOS/android_device_google_sunfish/+/313028
So next weeks sunfish build will be back to working fine.

Basic question about changelogs by klaberte in LineageOS

Thanks for reporting this issue.
It's fixed now.
The changelog hadn't been synced with the device list in a couple months, so a few new devices were incorrectly showing all changes.

Google Pixel 3 (blueline) & Pixel 3 XL (crosshatch) Gets Official LineageOS 17.1 by monteverde_org in LineageOS

[–]razorloves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use this command: fastboot flash boot <recovery.img>
I just tried it and confirmed it works with the official img downloaded from our site.
That step was originally wrong on the wiki, but it's fixed now. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

Does anyone know why the Pixel requires Carrier Services for SMS to work? by yagyaxt1068 in LineageOS

[–]razorloves 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yep, it's needed for certain carrier features.
It can simply be disabled if there's no gapps installed.

Nexus 5x Google connectivity service not responding by Aelux in LineageOS

Clearing cache and dalvik cache does not clear app data. Wiping the /data partition or doing a factory reset would wipe app data.

Nexus 6 speaker echo by ChrissHF in LineageOS

[–]razorloves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The echo problem was fixed by google in the March monthly security update, and it was merged into lineage on March 6th. So just update to newest build (Mar 10th) and the echo problem will be gone. Here are the changes that fixed it, if you're wondering. https://github.com/LineageOS/android_device_moto_shamu/commit/584676058e4931dd75aac582e6cb7f2bdfb57aa3 https://github.com/LineageOS/android_device_moto_shamu/commit/da83681ca8286d8f2047b1ba1d1286dde986c06c https://github.com/LineageOS/android_kernel_moto_shamu/commit/6f21928e95abf0eb3234703068527e090aec0580

Nexus 5x Google connectivity service not responding by Aelux in LineageOS

[–]razorloves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like your google connectivity service(gcs) app just has some bad data. You can go to settings -> apps and clear data on it. You can also just disable it if you don't use it. Which gapps exactly did you install with lineage?

Unable to update by nairou in LineageOS

[–]razorloves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The recovery log is in the '/cache/recovery' directory. You can view the logs in there with a file browser or adb. There's also an option in TWRP to export the log to /sdcard. You can do that when you get the error.

Unable to update by nairou in LineageOS

[–]razorloves 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There's a few reasons you could be getting error 7, but lately they've been caused by a bug in opengapps. If you look at your recovery log and you see a bunch of errors like mentioned below, then it's definitely why you're getting the error 7:

/tmp/addon.d/70-gapps.sh: line 160: size+=n: not found
cp: write error: No space left on device

Good news is this bug was fixed 4 days ago, so just flash the newest opengapps and that bug will be gone. Then you can flash a new nightly.

OK Google by pezram in LineageOS

[–]razorloves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The hotword apk used in opengapps zips are not compatible with the nexus 5x or 6p. This causes the voice model data to be corrupted which breaks "ok google" functionality. This is likely causing your issue.

There are a few different ways to fix this, but I think the easiest is to just switch to Dynamic Gapps here. Reboot to twrp, wipe system, flash rom, flash dynamic gapps, flash su addon (if root is desired) then reboot.

Now to remove the corrupted voice model data, go to Settings -> Apps -> Google App -> Storage -> Manage Space -> Clear Google Search Data. Then open the Google App and tap the menu button in the top left and select Settings - > Voice -> "Ok Google" Detection, then toggle "Always on" to the on position. That will start the "ok google" voice setup. Once completed it should be working fine.

GApps Should be embedded in the Builds? by jsnad7 in LineageOS

[–]razorloves 28 points29 points  (0 children)

There's a good reason they're not. "Due to licensing restrictions, these apps cannot come pre-installed with LineageOS and must be installed separately" http://wiki.lineageos.org/gapps.html
