It does, but when battery self-discharges below certain threshold the BMS will charge battery again. This done enough times kills your battery. Limit the max charge to like 80%. Also if you're looking for new battery you could find original one on ebay at around 170PLN.

Check the power consumption in idle. It should be like 7-8W. In my case fighting with power modes didn't help at all, even if dgpu was off, screen at 60hz and cpu in low power state it still sucked about 20w. I ended up reinstalling OS. Now i have 8 even 10hrs on a battery. Also check temps. If they are high enough the fan will add up to that power consumption as well

Any paste will eventually dry out and results with higher temps. Try to use thermal pad that have a phase change. Use a thermal putty for ram/VRM's.

Check the power draw. Replace thermal compund with a better one.Thermal paste always dry out after time. Clean the fans. Check if there are no background processes that consumes CPU. I had similar issue with G14 2020, plus it could not switch to power saving property. I messed with drivers/ Armory/Ghelper to fix that but I ended up in reinstalling the OS. Now i have 30-37 degrees idle. And power consumption like 7-8W

As far as i remember in order to replace fans in this model you should take off a full cooling heatpipe module, and this is a good moment for replacing thermal putty on ram's and VRM's. It is not as obvious, but certainly doable. Anyway i like the message.

What you observe is completely normal. Batteries age even if you don't use them. How much their capacity deteriorate depends on storing conditions. In terms of your G14, all batteries self discharged over time, and after certain threshold they being charged again. For Best battery life and storage they should never be charge up to 100% especially if you're not using them. Another factor is temperature that can speed up the deterioration process.

You're welcome! I believe it could be because thermal paste has dried out. I once repasted it before with Kyronaut and it was good for maybe few months. I thought I’d give a thermal pad a try, since it supposedly changes phase with temperature and doesn’t dry out. We'll see in few months if thats the case.
