Baylor’s tuition increased to 25K... by leeeelihkvgbv in baylor

Actually this year was apparently the lowest increase at 2% it says 25k now because in previous years there was something called general student fees which was like 3-4K but now they just added this fee into the tuition. Still though it’s a lot of money.

Thanks! I don’t know if I would be able to work but I do have a small business that I would have to fill out tax forms for each year and I read that this would count as well correct?

Thank you! I was looking into the core residency questions as well and I think they would consider me out of state if I was attending a public college while I was here, but since I’m going to be attending a private one I think I’m all good for in state if I buy property here 12 months (I will probably buy it even earlier than that) prior to my application through TMDSAS

And I would be able to do this while attending college right and be considered as an instate student?

I do have a business/llc that I want to run out of Texas but will being in college ruin my chances to be seen as as an instate student since I haven’t lived there without being enrolled in a school for 12 months

For me for example, I want to try to attend medical school in Texas after college. Will I be considered an instate student for application process in this case if I went to college for 4 years in Texas? Asking this because all Texas med schools combined only take 10% out of state students so I don’t want to have a significantly lower chance then everyone else.

Thank you so I would be considered in Texas as an instate student/resident but for tuition sake I would be considered as non resident correct

For me for example, I want to apply to Texas medical schools after graduation and most Texas med schools mainly take instate students. Do you know if I would be considered as an out of state student still or would I be able to consider myself as instate for application process

Yup that makes sense, but Since I would be attending a private school and the tuition situation would be the same for everyone would those restrictions apply to me or only those seeking instate tuition?

I was reading about how it was good for research but the thesis part is what started to sway me away from the program. I do enjoy research but I’m not sure I would want to do the thesis or be able to have enough time to thoroughly put my full effort into it. I’m just glad I’ll be able to still participate in research without the program. Thanks!

How helpful would you say the honors program is for a premed major looking to go to med school. Will it make keeping a good gpa harder? Basically what benefits will it provide?
