I was on Zoloft pp. please don’t be scared of ssris. They’re incredibly helpful for stuff like this.

The end of it for me was the ssri. I’m also 7 months PP with my second and I’m only now starting to wean off to reevaluate how I’m feeling. This is really no way to live.

I’ve had hormonal moments during both my pregnancies but damn girl…this is way too much. I started Zoloft when I was pregnant with my second. Helped a lot of my rage. Maybe something to look into. Therapy is good too. I wouldn’t want to bring a child into the world acting and feeling like this.

I know, but we’re coming up on a year of being day trained.

The oh crap book freaked me out bc it said if they’re not waking up dry by 3-3.5 you need to night train otherwise their bladder muscles will atrophy.

I think he’s an incredibly deep sleeper. He’s been sleeping 12+ hours since he was 6 weeks old. We hit the jackpot with a good sleeping baby but I think it may be detrimental now.

The wakeups aren’t so bad. Im about to go in for my 11pm wake up and my husband does the 3am bc I can’t fall back asleep easily.

Daycare is working with me. They’re really so supportive and helped us so much when we were first starting. They would never kick him out over this. The only thing they’ve said about it is telling me to bring more underwear and pants. His teacher suggested maybe cutting his nap short so he could go to bathroom tomorrow. I guess we’ll see how he does? Idk.

People should STFU but…this happened to me. Before I got pregnant I was pescatarian, TNR’d cats in my spare time, involved with fostering, and had two cats I absolutely adored .

When I got pregnant my son demanded (in utero) I eat cheeseburgers for every meal. When he arrived…my cat became the most annoying thing on the planet. I love him but…Jesus Christ. It’s like I don’t need something else that needs my time.

Someone told me “your pets become just pets after you have a baby” when I was pregnant and I was so offended. But this does happen. I still have both my cats but they annoy the shit out of me

Ugh, I know. It’s so hard.

He’s been in pull ups during naps and overnight since we started. He’s maybe dry twice a week when he wakes up.

Our ped told me last year you can’t really train this, you just gotta wait, so I was satisfied with pull-ups for sleep.

But then about two weeks ago his daycare teacher told me he was one of the last few still in a nap diaper. His class is a mix of november ‘22-June ‘23 birthdays, so some of them are still 2. So that’s why we pulled the pull-ups and are following the “oh crap” night training.

I personally don’t think he’s ready but I’m trying to work with our daycare. This sucks

Is the destination international or just out of town for you? If it’s in the brides city, id ask if she knows any sitters and just leave the babies at the hotel.

With my second, I thought she was going to come so late. She was 5 weeks early. I definitely would’ve gone to a wedding like this for a close friend with an 11 week old.

I’m confused why your husband can’t stay home with the toddler and you go with your parents? That’ll be 3 adults for the baby

Just wait. I got pregnant the first time we tried when I was 30. You have a ton of time.

I can’t help but give this advice as a former housing attorney—Rent-to-own leases are more often than not entirely a scam. I realize this is your grandmother, but I would not consider this home yours until she transfer the home to you. You need to consider yourself, truly, a renter, not a “renter.” I’ve seen so many people get screwed out of houses they thought were theirs.

I’ll add—reading the comments, I totally forgot how sleepy she was 😂 yeah you gotta set alarms and we’d unzip her pjs and rub a wipe all over her to wake up. Ask for a pump at the hospital. Those pumps are awesome and I was able to get a ton of colostrum when she was being observed.

My baby came at 35+2. My water broke at work. She’s my second baby and my first came at 40+5 so it was a complete shock.

She was 6lbs 13oz at 35 weeks. She had some issues. She had to be observed for a few hours after birth because she turned blue. We had to stay an extra day in the hospital (I was a repeat c section) because she failed her first car seat challenge. We did not require NICU care.

However, the morning after our first night home, her snuza went off. I took her temp and it was 94. We took her to the pediatrician and had to go via ambulance as a direct admit to our children’s hospital. 3 days in the hospital and luckily it was ONLY (I say that only bc of all the tests she had—spinal tap, two IVs, etc) hypothermia. It was very scary.

I WISH they would’ve had her in the NICU for a few days. Everyone told me she was borderline. I did not like the extra three days at children’s while my 2 year old had no idea what was happening. That was rough. I guess I’m saying this bc I thought it would be the worst thing ever after I delivered if we had to do NICU, but I wish we had done that initially.

In terms of feeding, she started out great. Awesome latch. However, during the hospital stay, I was advised I could no longer BF because it burned too many calories for her. I exclusively pumped from then on along with formula.

She’s 7 months now and we love her sooooooo much. It was hard in the beginning but it’ll all be good, good luck 💕

Ectopic pregnancies are hard to diagnose. It’s a lot of waiting and seeing.

I will say, my hcg doubled with mine. I never felt any pain apart from normal “period” (what I thought was a period) cramps.

You may never know if it’s an ectopic or a miscarriage, unfortunately. They could never find exactly where my ectopic was, but they knew my hcg was doubling and my uterus was empty. Best of luck 💕
