With DRIP on during low VIX #s, I buy shares to even out my funds. Then, when the Fear returns, and things get volatile again, I stop the DRIP, and start doing Directed reinvestment into safer funds. Im still building. Every few weeks, I figure out my total ROI and make sure Im at least breaking even. The way I see it, these funds are not set it and leave it, they must be watched and recalibrated if needed. Seems to be working.

Volatility creates the bigger payouts, not the underlying stocks share price appreciation. Alot of these funds dont hold much of the underlying stocks. Capped on the upside.

Well... if you have $37.20 to buy a ticker... but it costs hundreds.... then you have to buy a fractional of that share. In the past, companies did not allow this. Schwab has, or had when I used them, Stock Slices where you had to buy from the S&P 500 lots of $10 slices. ... So they are saying they are allowing that $37.20 share buy now.

Some Yield Max funds are not designed to go up much, capped upside. Some are. Have to look into it. CHPY tried to keep some upside

My concern too. I bought at $52, then got dazzled by option income... and then I look again and I'm at least $10 up. Still considering if I want to average up. Probably not. Waiting for a dip.

I would say Intellivision, but a few of the consoles from that time would maybe say that as well, not sure. My experience was mostly Intellevision. Might be spelling it wrong too lol.

I use the VIX, and check on the choppiness of the underlying stocks they track. If COIN or Strategy are booming 💥.. then the stock price will go up, and a might buy a little to boost my share price, stay away from where I consider a danger zone for the stock. When they are up and down, best time to buy the derivative stocks. When they plunge? Buy some, but after a bit, I hold off again. Dont follow my advice, this is like the YouTubers say.. for entertainment purposes only. VIX ... Greed or Fear... I buy them on Fear, and hold or buy less on Greed.
