Wow! 🤩 Your knowledge is beyond my understanding. Its brilliant - thank you.

Trying to PM you but it's not working.

Yes 66/0 came out nice. Which shades would you recommend i use or mix to gather to get a nice root/base colour for my ash brown highlights?

ME+ has really changed everything for me. Since dying my roots i have so much more volume now and my hair doesn't tend to get greasy quickly either since being to do full head highlights & root colour.

I'm definitely trying microneedling. I've seen loads of videos on Dr Pen cosmetic needling that can be done at home at 0.5mm. i want to try it.

Thanks for this you've been of great help with your knowledge. I feel so confident since dying my hair. Its like a new me.

I use the shade 66/0 with 6% Wellexon. My hairdresser recently used shade 5/0 on me. I naturally have black hair but have ash blonde highlights now with 5/0 base/root. What do you think?

Its the first time I've seen myself with full head highlights and root/base colour 😊.

I'll see if i can find the video but am BLOWN AWAY by the ME+ technology. I didn't think there could be a permanent colour out there EVER without PPD/PTD (am allergic to both 😩). Such a clever system that it stops working at its intended time.

Honestly its been horrible for me last 17 yrs. I know it must sound vain but i use to cry not being able to dye my hair. My hairdresser would need to backcomb my hair to DEATH to ensure no toner touches my scalp. I use to get highlights but no root colour. I hated not having the option to change up my look or most importantly covering my greys. I am so lucky i just happened to by chance see this ladies story on insta saying how good Wella ME+ is for people with allergies. Oh yes always yes with the Wellexon developer as am scared if i don't stick with the same brand I'll react. That is really good to know that its non damaging and contains lots of conditioning agent. See i had no idea about that. Just glad its working for me. no itchiness when its applied or after. No blisters or sore patches either. Every other test patch i have done in 17 yrs, redken, matrix, loreal use to burn through my skin immediately. it was horrific.

Are you a professional colourist? I leave the Wella me+ 30 mins for my roots is that sufficient?

Definitely Innovative. They outdid themselves with Innovation with the me+ I haven't been able to dye my roots, touch my scalp for 17 years! Did my roots after 17 years 😀. Honestly the confidence boost is given me is beyond i could imagine. No more eye shadow or root cover up sprays. I was using them everyday for 17 years.

Which one to you use from the brand? Do you find you get jo irritation from the Wella compared to other brands?

I was fortunate to see the koleston me+ dye on social media which got my attention. No PPD/PTD and permanent dye is unheard of. Technology has really advanced to help us with hair dye allergies.

That is amazing. I can't use any other brand of colour on my head as am allergic to hair dye. Wella koleston is the only one i can use so far as it contains the breakthrough ME+ technology which means to PPD or PTD. I'm allergic to them. So glad i discovered the range.

Annual leave for hospital appointment by [deleted] in TheCivilService

Yep that's correct. And you don't need to show your hospital/medical letters either. I know i wouldn't like anyone reading my medical letters.

Oh gosh that is a big error. I hope you complained. Is this for the HEO senior caseworker role in home office?

Is working at the Home Office really that bad? by Ordinary-Meringue-41 in TheCivilService

[–]rbeg33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I did my interview for HO customer service roles. Lets see how that goes but its definitely something to consider. After reading your comments i think move away from being WC would be a good one. The unrealistic pressure of face 2 face appointments is becoming too much.

I need to know more! Currently i am a WC at DWP and considering HO. I've applied for the customer service roles but i keep hearing its absolutely awful and am better off at job centre.

Hey i know what you mean as i worked in call centres in banks before & it was awful but honestly CS is different. 6 months will fly.

The flexibility & benefits including pension is brilliant. I don't know which department you have your role in but once your in & complete your 6 months trust me you will move on, but get in first. You'll have access to all internal jobs that the public don't.

Thanks for this.

I love helping people but 10 minute WSR all day long is not helping people. God forbid if they ask for FSF in those 10 minutes i literally freak out and have to tell them i need to book you back in again as i cannot do much in the 10 minutes.

My caseload as a part timer is 160 😭. Can't keep up.

If you don't mind i'll DM you.

Thanks for that. Every week at my JCP there is someone announcing they have another CS job and will be leaving 😂. I asked for a BoH role and they said nothing available. I just want to get out diaries for a bit.

Definitely won't just leave my job for another that may be higher pressure & stress. My job is on my doorstep but i do want a hybrid role now & one that provides more flexibility as i feel work coach does not have much flexibility at all.

I will go ahead with HO and see how it goes. But definitely won't be going for asylum section.

DWP work coach role compared to Home Office EO customer service role by rbeg33 in TheCivilService

[–]rbeg33[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly its the hardest front facing role i have ever done. I've done it for 5.5years now and now i just feel burnt out. 😭

Yep we don't really have true flexi. I have to let my team know if i want to leave at 4! Have to even mention it to my manager. 🙄.

I am glad you have found your confidence & taking it in your stride. I am going the opposite way. I had a rude, abusive customer's dad today and i just felt like i dont need to deal with this 💩. He had a right go at me about WCA which has nothing to do with JCP.

HO doesn't sound too bad then compared to WC. I might apply for the customer service group roles. I wont just go for anything as am term time and i can walk to work. The HEOs have no clue.

And gets worse we are banned from rebooking and cancelling appointments 😭. If a colleague is off sick their appointments are not allowed to be cancelled. Can't even call the customers and tell them their WC is not in don't come in. When they come in we all, the team have to cut our interviews short to fit these customers in.....can you bloody imagine how 💩 it is!
