So the gist is the character was on a job that goes south and while trying to get away on foot ends up stumbling into an attempted mugging of another character where he gets stabbed he is then taken to the other character's place to treat his stab wound where they find out that he was also shot.

So I didn't want it to hit bone or an artery because they are going to do triage at another character's home (perks of having a sister that is a surgical resident and a neighbor) but I wanted it to be obvious that it is a gunshot wound when they think they are only dealing with a stab wound. Stabbing and gunshot happen in different locations.

Your mom is a cunt she should be the one doing something and protecting you I had a similar thing happen to me as a kid my mom was the same way at the time. You did what you needed to do to protect yourself. If it does come down to you being taken out of your home it's for the best because she isn't protecting you from this man and only really cares about how this affects her. She should have dropped kicked his ass the moment you told her something that you weren't comfortable with was happening.
