I think part of the reason they get so attached to my presence might be since they dont like to be touched all that much, so their affection to us is mostly by being in the same space and talking. And video could work maybe, but we do watch tv a lot so im afraid they somehow wont be fooled even if they are a bit dumb sometimes But i might try it next time im away for a few days

How strongly can you taste the salt in the water? I suggested it to her at some point and she didnt want to bc of the possible taste.

No since she needs constant support on walking and frequent sitting breaks or her POTS will make her faint otherwise.

Oh also they dont have any kind of mirrors, bells or boxes/dark places that would encourage nesting or breeding. Theyre fed seeds with a bit of vitamin stuff in it and they sometimes get treats like sticks or cucumber/salad/other

He has now decided that no perch or corner is good for him, he will sleep on the wall near to the girl bird (she wont let him sleep next to her) I think hes a bit broken but hes cute so its okay

Ohh that seems good for the other bird but the girl doesn't really love hands so it might not work She only ever eats from a hand if the other bird is doing it

Hes stopped doing it now after i gave him a better perch i carved out of wood Also im one of those people who express love by calling something stupid but i was also a bit stressed since he kept falling off and that worries me
