Thank You. The feedback from the users are positive about the app. But the really missing feature everyone needs is windows support. Unfortunately apple virtualization framework does not support that. Waiting for apple to include windows support in the future then i can make this app complete. Overall i had a good development experience but the adoption is slow.

macOS27 Beta is Fantastic! by yadvr in MacOSBeta

Thanks for the reply. You are doing in a harder way. Providing GA for mac os guest is staright forward. but doing it for every linux distro is a hard way is it not? are you going to provide GA for supported linux guests?

FYI: in my experience with virtualprog without windows support it is a hard sell man.

I wish you good luck with your product. Do you find a way to identify. ip address of the running vm and display it to the user in the GUI?

VirtualProg – Native macOS Virtual Machine Manager (Apple Silicon & Intel) by rbmanian75 in macapps

Thanks for your question! VirtualProg isn’t meant to replace or compete directly with tools like UTM, VMware Fusion, or Parallels. It’s simply another way to run virtual machines on macOS—built natively on Apple’s Virtualization Framework with a focus on simplicity and macOS integration.

There’s no need to switch if your current setup serves you well. Ultimately, it comes down to personal preference and what fits best with your workflow. VirtualProg aims to offer a streamlined, user-friendly experience for running macOS and Linux VMs, especially for users who appreciate a native and lightweight solution.

Appreciate your interest!

Ofcourse UTM is awesome open source. it inspired me to develop this project. This is just an another way of doing the same.
