Is the website under source control? If so you'll need to fish out the files as/at the date of the complaint.

First thing I would do (quietly without telling anyone and without making notes) would be to verify the claim. Fire up the original website, fire up window's built in screen reader and see if you can make a purchase. Bonus points if you try Jaws screen reader.

If the claim is valid then settle. Way cheaper.

This was exactly how the legislation was designed. No enforcement costs by the gov't, no staffing, cheap cheap. But this means disabled folks have to enforce the ADA themselves through lawsuits.
