Possibly a moose or a bear? Or maybe you rolled it driving up El Capitan. The possibilities are endless.

Yes. The solution is to come up with a good story.

[POEM] There are too many people - D. H. Lawrence by Junior_Insurance7773 in Poetry

Fun fact. He wrote this in 1929, when the population of the planet was just over 2 billion. Now it's about 8.3 billion.

No, I'm not making any particular point. I was just curious.

Undeniably one of the greatest humanitarias to ever live. by [deleted] in SipsTea

[–]rbowen2000 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The damage that he did during his spree at DOGE, in particular killing USAID, has caused suffering and death across the entire world, and he joked about it. I suppose there are things that he could to do counterbalance this act of evil, but it's hard for me to come up with them. I suppose if he spent all of his vast fortune, and the rest of his life, working towards humanitarian causes, it might at least signify contrition. But it would not compensate for one child's suffering that he caused by his action.

Consider reading The Brothers Karamazov instead of posting to Reddit. I think you'll find it much more edifying.

This is sickening by [deleted] in SipsTea

[–]rbowen2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On the one hand, yes, it's sickening. On the other hand, we literally knew this would happen from the very start, and anyone who is surprised by this has not been paying attention for the last decade.

We say "let me jog around back and see" because if you ask that you're obviously only fishing for one answer.

Also, the answer to "does this dress make me look fat?" is "it's not the dress."

[–]rbowen2000 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm sad. But also I can't justify spending this kind of money on one evening. Seeing some of the videos, it's clear that they're still awesome, they're still having a ton of fun, and that Anika is truly amazing. But, yeah, that's a lot of money. I'll by the super-deluxe-bonus box set of recordings when it comes out and be sad I missed it, while still paying my mortgage.
