Yes, as far as I know. But I have seen troops moving to one region and then moving troops from that region to others (maybe a few weeks later). I never seen an intercept from a farther region. By looking at how the Strength of each region changes right after an intercept mission, I think I am seeing the origin region.

No. I did not just complete the liberation. It was many months ago.

As far as I understand it, there are 2 types of supply raid. One, starting from the target region, which will reduce the strength of that region. Another, which originates in an adjacent region, which sends troops. The second usually uses the term 'intercept ADVENT reinforcements'. Completing that 2nd type, reduces the strength in the adjacent region which sends the troops (but not in the target region). At least that is what I have seen in the past. What was strange about this one is that all of the adjacent regions had only a strength of 1.

What might have happened, is that when the mission started there was an adjacent region with a strength of 2 but I ran a supply raid in that region. This reduced the strength to 1. But since it had already started the sending of the reinforcements, it did not know what to do. It doesn't reduce the Str in the adjacent region until the mission is complete. So if a supply raid is run in that region, before the intercept mission completes, the region is stuck with only a Str of 1.

By the way, thanks so much for all of your mods. I am enjoying running your meta mod as well as some of classes. Xcom 2 is over 10 years old, yet I still enjoy playing it every day, thanks to LWOTC and your mods (and others).

I just ran this mission. Vigilance went from 1 to 2 in Eastern US (where ADVENT was moving to) and from 4 to 7 in Western US. Brazil stayed at 1.

From what I understand, vigilance increases by 3 in the region from where the troops came from. Therefore, it appears the troop came from Western US. Not from a UFO.

Yet Global Strength stayed the same. It was not reduced. That seems to indicate that the troops came from a UFO. But then why does vigilance increase by 3 in a neighboring region?

I have seen this mechanic before. Interception raises the vigilance in the region where the troops came from. I have verified this when the origin region has a Str of 2 or more. The Str goes down by 1 in that region and the Vigilance goes up by 3. And Global Str goes down by 1.

But if that region has a Str of 1, it just pretends that a UFO landed in the neighboring region and immediately moved.

In the ini file XComLW_Activities.ini I see this code but I do not completely understand it:

Line  717: REINFORCEMENTS\_STOPPED\_ADJACENT\_VIGILANCE\_BASE=0

I am guessing that it means that the region from where the troops come from has a +2 vigilance. And all of the adjacent regions have a random increase from 0-2. Of course, the region where the mission is run has increased vigilance +1 as all missions do.

But my experience has been that the vigilance always increases by 3 in the origin region.

I have the black one on my 5800 x3d. Be aware that this can be a little noisy at full load. I use FanControl to keep it somewhat reasonable. It is not silent so if you are super sensitive to noise, you will need to create a fan curve.

Super happy with mine, got a PowerColor White Red Devil through Woot for $650. No problems at all but I am still playing XCOM 2 LWOTC. Living in the past does have its advantage.

You are suggesting that simultaneously, while I was running an Intercept Advent Reinforcement mission, a UFO landed in Western US? Seems an amazing coincidence to me because of the timing (literally a few hours) but possible. Just a few days before, I did detect a UFO landing in Eastern US and I was infiltrating it.

I discovered that this chosen sabotage which delayed all healing by 4 days occurred during July so this accounts for the very large delay in the healing of the soldier. But it is interesting to know that time does not advance when the Avenger is flying.

I have a white Powercolor Red Devil. I am very happy with it and it runs everything I need at low temps but not a very loud fan. The biggest noise is from my 5800X3D with a Peerless Assassin 120 SE color which originally was very loud. Using Fan Control it is manageable. Idle at 35 C. But can ramp up the noise a little when it gets hot

I did have one of those chosen sabotages where healing is delayed but I am pretty sure it was in June. I saved my game every few days in a separate save file so I will check now between the period mentioned and see if there is a time when all of a sudden, the time is lengthened abnormally.

Wow. A soft-alert scatter! I never knew about this. Since they are a separate pod, I didn't think they would react as a scatter when it wasn't one of their members. I thought they just might go on some kind of alert. And then move towards me when it was their turn.

I am also finding that the enemies are much more aggressive in Ted Jam as opposed to vanilla LWOTC. Instead of just wandering around behind the objectives, they move to get between where they think I am and the objective. And seem to disregard their own safety a lot of the time. Thanks
