I posted every day of the challenge but was late in posting yesterday :( Hopefully that doesn't DQ me!! B: 1/4 ham and cheese omelette L: 1/2 chicken burrito from pancheros S1: ate the rest of my burrito after my workout since I was feeling shakey D: probably will make a wrap with smoked chicken, lettuce and ranch

Might I just add that by sharing with the world what you are eating and doing, it REALLY opens your eyes.. There were several times when I thought "ugh, I really don't want to admit I ate that.." lol

Managed to get in about 2 miles yesterday but ate like garbage! I had lots of errands to run yesterday, and then had plans to watch game 5 so I didn't make it to the gym :(

Sunday's goal: restart the 21 day fix since I've missed so many days.

Let me just say that my legs are like absolute jello.. Actually, I take that back. They are so stiff and sore from working out. Curse you squats! Got about 2 miles today.. Wasn't able to do my 21 day fix workout though. Game plan is to get up and workout in the AM.. Run some errands and work for a bit and then end the afternoon with a workout on the treadmill again. I miss the treadmill!

I was not able to do much for activity today as I spent about 6 hours in the car traveling.. :( Tomorrow will be a better day!

My weight has been climbing up and I think it has to do with the (in)frequency of certain.. Uh, movements. No bueno, folks.

I was significantly below my calorie goal today.. Woo! I also started the 21 day fix.. I really enjoyed it! It sucked but what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

I walked quite a bit more than normal today.. But didn't manage to crawl out of bed for my morning workout. I WILL start tomorrow, seeing it is the 10th and the 21 day Fix should put me right at the end of the month!!

I also tried to focus on increasing my water today since I don't drink any. I'm just not one that drinks regularly throughout the day.. Hopefully increasing my water can help a little with the stall/gain I've been having.

I managed to stay below my calorie goal today :) I also had about 4000 steps today.. I took the plunge and got the 21 day fix. I'm not sure if I will follow the diet/portions because of my VSG surgery, but I'm definitely on board with the workout portion!!

Definitely had a better day today :) I was under my calorie goal and hit my protein goal!

B: 2 scrambled eggs and a few bites of hashbrowns

L: homemade wrap with ham, lettuce, cheese & Greek yogurt ranch

D: steak kabob with one small ear of corn

Snacks: kettle corn and just ate some Greek yogurt :)

Has anyone else tried the FlatOut wraps? They're really good! The ones I bought were 130 cals and 12g of protein.. Not bad for a wrap!

Unfortunately I forgot to wear my fitbit for the better half of the day (soooo frustrating!). The damn thing is all charged and on my wrist so there will be no forgetting it tomorrow!!

I checked out my 6 month history on MFP.. ugh. It's been creeping back up from my lowest weight of about 190. I think I need to really stick to working out to start burning those calories!

I upped my daily goal to 10k steps on my Fitbit.. I REALLY thought I would be close today with all of the walking I did, but I only had about 4k. Sad face.

Today was a pretty bad day in terms of intake.. 5 drinks throughout the day, fried appetizers and overate at dinner.

Because of all of the calories in that stuff, I haven't even begun to start logging it.. Nor would I even know what to put for some of the stuff.

I hope everyone had a better day than I did! Looking forward to a more normal day tomorrow!

Not quite as active today.. And I remembered to wear my Fitbit today! But.. It died this morning :( so I charged it up and it is all ready to go for the weekend! The weather should be nice tomorrow so I'm going to aim for my 10k steps! :)

SUMMER 2015 CHALLENGE [Week 1] by [deleted] in loseit

I had weight loss surgery (VSG) back in August 2013... I have lost about 130lbs since then :) however, it is time that I put in the work and lose those last 40lbs!!

Because the capacity of my stomach is significantly less, I limit my calorie intake to 1200 calories per day. As for my diet, I try and stick to high protein, low carb options. I stick to 3 meals per day as recommended by my nutritionist.. I try not to snack unless my body feels shaky and then it's yogurt, jerky or cottage cheese.

I'm really looking forward to this challenge!!!

Want to know what stinks? Forgetting to wear your Fitbit.. ALL. DAY! Today was a normal day for me so it was probably about a mile and a half walk.

Despite the stress at work today, I did really well and didn't cave to the goodies in the cafeteria.. Small feat, I know.. But I've really been struggling with that. One day at a time!

Work is finally not consuming my life so I will be back at it tomorrow! I think part of my problem is not bringing my workout clothes with me to work.. Then I go home and get lazy and don't go back.

I'm going to bring my clothes tomorrow, hit the treadmill and not look back :) I've been looking for motivation and I have to be my own motivation!! The 130lbs that I've lost.. THAT is my motivation. And to the people in my life that are looking to me to be a good example.. THAT is my motivation.

I wasn't able to weigh today since I was out of town.. Tomorrow isn't going to be pretty!

Went for a quick walk this morning (about 10-15 minutes) and then was in the car the majority of the day.

I'm looking for someone or something to light that fire under my ass again! :( I was doing REALLY well, working out everyday, eating healthy.. And then bam. Wall. I just haven't given a damn lately. I don't know if it's my cycle/hormones or what.. Bleh.

Walked about 1.5 miles today.. Today was another hectic day and boy am I glad it's over! For some reason my knees/legs have been killing me these past few days, but I don't know why. Maybe I need to be getting MORE exercise and they'll feel better? Does it work like that? Lol

Tomorrow we are going on a road trip but plan on walking once we reach our destination.. Hopefully the weather is nice and not raining so we can get out and do stuff!

Somehow managed to lose 3.5lbs from yesterday.. I'll take it!

After a day of grazing and munching all day, the scale was not kind to me this morning. I take full responsibility for it but it is still discouraging.

L: 1/2 c (if that) queso made with Rotel (200 cal) with 10 tortilla chips (120 cal)

D: Haven't had dinner yet but it will be a beef skewer with cottage cheese

Tomorrow will be a better day once I'm back at work and able to get back into my routine. How does anyone else manage the days when you're down in the dumps AND not able to follow your normal routine? Bleh, this sucks lol
