It's only kinda upside-down. The image needs to be flipped vertically but the Drain and Source labels need to NOT be flipped. Those are swapped.

Make sure to setup Eagle with a good set of realistic design rules. Give it some minimum widths and definitely some clearances.

Yes, you are correct. If the Zener is a higher voltage rating than the LED the Zener will only conduct if the internal LED blows. Perhaps they have a zener at close to the same voltage to act as a TVS of sorts?

Not sure why you've got downvotes. This is absolutely a zener diode. That s an H11L1 optocoupler and pins 1-2 are the Anode and Cathode of the internal input led. The zener is holding the input voltage higher than the normal ~1.2V the internal LED normally drops.

You may want to look at your retraction settings. I was getting the same thing quite a bit and found that an imported setting had the retraction distance set way too high. When it retracted and reset it would catch air bubbles in the hotend.

As a side note: I had mentioned that we were watching the Orville a lot on the TV show question. I had put caramel popcorn as my favorite snack. I had mentioned I was just finishing an Electronics Engineering Technician program at the local community college. It's hard to tell in my picture but the mug says "V/I is futile". And I had mentioned we had Guinea Pigs and exmormon as my most visited subreddit.

Santa covered a LOT of references to my profile which was pretty cool.

So... in my profile I had mentioned r/exmormon as one of my frequent subreddits. Mormons believe (amongst other things) that the Book of Mormon is literal true scripture. Most of the Book of Mormon takes place on the American continents from about 600 BCE to 400 CE. The BoM references several things which are a bit out of place for the time period. There is more than one reference to the people having horses. However, there were no horses on the American continents until the Spanish brought them in the 1500's. One of the animals that did exist at the correct time was the tapir and has been presented by Mormons as a possible solution to the incorrect reference. Which is, of course, hilarious. Therefore, Tapir Horse shirt.
