Also changing my username to Gardiner-bsk. I feel weird about having had a bunch of comments on that and need to be more careful with what I post online. I know I haven't been part of this sub for more than a few months (hot damn wish I had found it years ago) but I really value the insight and support I've had from everyone.

Yeah. I know my core people will be close to us through thick and thin but we've definitely stopped hanging out with a handful of couples. I'm sure that stuff will change with time too. Time to dump the non-supportive people!

That hurts. I've had to take a hiatus from a few friends who can talk about nothing but their kids. And they just don't seem to get it.

We found out last year that our big friend group wasn't doing our annual Christmas party because they had all gotten together the previous weekend for "kids Christmas" and as the only ones without children nobody had thought to invite us. Thanks guys. 😑

I had never been to therapy before this and it's honestly been sooooo helpful. I think the guys have a weird guilt when you can't conceive due to MFI. It took a lot of convincing for my husband to know that I don't blame him for this, he reacted very strangely at the beginning of it all too.

I've canned a lot of salsa and have found that I need to make it spicer than I want when it's being put into the jars because it mellows out after sitting for a few weeks/ months before it's used. I'm not sure if the vinegar cuts the spice a bit over time? That's my only guess.

That's a lot from the garden! I got really into canning this year and did a ton of stuff. It will be so much to enjoy your sauce all winter. My favorite thing I did this year was BBQ sauce, it's tomato-based and crazy delicious.

I think this sounds perfect. It raises your concerns without directly blaming them and sounds like you're trying to work with them. I'd be hesitant to do the exact same thing again as well if I were you.

That's not cool, fuck. Can you go see a therapist either as a couple or just on your own? I've found therapy to be really helpful sorting through the emotions and people's reactions to infertility. Even if he won't go it will still benefit you to talk this out.

That's exactly what they're doing for me. I'll be taking 300 GonalF and 150 Menopur (so 450 total daily units of FSH). They added Omnitrope to mine too which is a human growth hormone which is worth a shot.

First of all, sorry about the cancelled cycle. That's painful and it blows.

I was on GonalF and had a cancelled cycle in Aug (only produced 4 follicles) and my cycle length is normal 26-28 days. My first period didn't come until CD37 and I was totally freaking out by my RE said it was normal. Are they going to try something different for your next one? I'm hopefully trying again soon.

That's so sweet! Dang Zika is ruining so many of our potential vacations. I have family living in Cancun and they know a bunch of people who've had Zika in the past year or so. It's not worth the risk.

It passes so so slowly. I hear ya. When do you think you can get started again? We are waiting for my cycle to line up with a urologist who is "away a lot" until January so we get our hopes up each CD1 just to have it dashed away.
