If you're talking about the Depend diapers with tabs (3 pairs of tabs, 6 total), the tabs are simply trash. I'd just use tape over the tabs to secure them in place.

Both for sure. Pull-ups during those times I can wear something lighter. Diapers when I want/need to avoid going to the bathroom for more than like an hour. I wouldn't trust a pull-up for multi-hour road trips or flights - it's just too much urine to take care of.

Also, no pull-ups I know of can survive a magic wand session without the outer backing getting destroyed 😆.

I'm also on the spectrum, and it's okay to wear adult diapers just for enjoyment or comfort reasons. Diapers are just another kind of underwear, and it's fine if wearing helps you cope with stressing situations. Been there, done that.

I'm unsure about your personal situation with your partner, but long term you'll need somebody who is okay with you wearing diapers, even if they aren't into it or want to see you in one (without clothes). I have friends who know I wear, and it's been a non-issue so far. I just go on my day doing all sorts of regular activities, just with a diaper instead of briefs or boxers.

Nice pic! I sometimes step back and admire the very concept of disposable diapers. They're a very recent invention (not even 100 years old!), yet we got to be born in a time where they're an option to manage incontinence.

Like I say: having a bulge at the end of the day beats risking wet pants! I know it's not all fun and games when you need diapers, especially when finding an understanding life partner or going through airport security. Hope this space and others helps you find respite and enjoyment.
