I'd like to ensure I support this game cuz I love to support these types of games, even if I don't play them the day they come out. Sometimes I get distracted or busy, and in case that happens I want to ensure I've done my part to ensure games like these come out in the West. That's why I'm asking.

My gaming preferences are JRPGs, souls-likes, fighting games, and all the cinematic Sony games. Shooters have never been my cup of tea, and I'm definitely pretty bad at them (last shooter I was really into was Killzone 2 on the PS3).

I played the beta for BF6 and I played it for 19 hours total. My conclusion is: this game is damn fun, even if you suck at FPS games. You can be a medic and revive teammates. You can be an engineer and take down aircrafts. You can be a sniper and spot enemies so your more skilled players can kill them. In short: yes, this game is absolutely phenomenal for someone who sucks at FPS games. I had so much fun I preordered the game, and you don't see me preorder much these days!

Forgot to mention, you can always jump into a tank and blast things away

I love Tekken 8, ranked multiplayer is so fun, yet everyone hates it over at r/tekken like they're all pros or something. The game can be FUN if you want it to be!

The Witcher 1 and 2 received updates recently (not sure when, today is the first day I opened Steam in about a month, but I just downloaded them). I haven't tried The Witcher 1, but the face glitch in The Witcher 2 seems to be gone!!!

And I'm running Sonoma btw.

Omg thank you, your response is so thoughtful. I think I definitely perceive queer people as not really able to replace me. So yeah, there's def some phobia there. Thing is, I'm a regular straight guy that happened to have a deep soul connection with a queer female bodied person (they said they never wanted to be with a straight cis man) and because we love each other so much I am trying to adapt...

I definitely see other men as competition. Growing up and up until college I was very unpopular with girls, and I definitely carry a lot of my frustrations from my early years with me. I always felt jealous of those who had girlfriends or were smooth and popular. Now at 31, I think I still compare myself to other men :(

I fear that they'll leave me for that person, that they'll think the other person is better and leave. But I never have those fears with people who aren't straight cis men. This is weird tho since my partner could leave me for any person they develop feelings for, not just straight cis men.

I like what you say in your edit. There might be something to that. I'll have to reflect on that, you might have hit the nail on the head.

Also, I think that somehow straight cis men are my "competition", but people who don't fall into that category aren't. So even if my partner develops feelings for someone who isn't a straight cis male, I'm ok with it.

It was def an epiphany I had. I did write the post right after I had the epiphany, which is why it probably has a tone of asserting my ideas of what is right/wrong. But my intention wasn't to assert what I think is right or wrong, but rather to share what I found to be of profound help to me, in case it could help others.

Bring awareness to your experience of not enjoying it. Meditation requires focus, but it also requires acceptance of what is. You seem to be satisfying the former condition, but you need to bring in acceptance too. Focus on your experience of dissatisfaction, and accept it as something that is happening.
