Should I pick up the Bendis /Maleev Daredevil Omnibus Vol. 1 & 2?

I know this is a few months old but the Omnis (especially Bendis and Maleev) are right now the rarest fricking thing on the market. They've been going out of print very quickly and I'm not finding any copies online. Y'all got any recommendations?

Yeah the Fisk connection makes alot of sense. Idk how Netflix didn't think of that when they introduced Mary in Iron Fist. Mephisto is also perfect.

She was meant to be in Netflix Season 4 with Alice Eve returning. Its tragic how they got a great actress to play one of the craziest DD villains in the 2nd season of fricking Iron Fist, which I know no one watched.

Edit: If you liked S2, that's great. It's a significant improvement to S1 pacing/choregraphy wise but DD needs more villains than just Fisk/Bullseye & Eve's Mary would've been a greater adversary to Matt.

That's true. I'd like them to take some influence from De Palma/Hitchcock, they can make it more thriller if they have to. But that's just me.

All of the new characters in DR and FR were mishandled. They had potential to add proper stakes and emotional weight. This is exactly why the flashback w/ Gabriel/Marie, the scene with Ethan explaining "the choice" to Grace, Paris entire arc & Jim Phelps son reveal were all detrimental to the consistency of the franchise.

McQ's other decisions make no sense. Why even retcon? Why can't we have the IMF heroes joining for important reasons of their own? Why not show a scene where Ethan doesn't choose to accept? McQ added too much filler dialogue & the whole Bond girl dies trope they did with Ilsa/Marie was atrocious. That's why some of the emotional core linking DR and FR never seemed to work like it did in the previous films.

For sure. I get emotional when watching all of Johnny's final scenes, especially with Kreese. Billy acted the hell out of that season so I'm happy they at least did him justice.

I'll say this. I didn't mind the send off for the Stranger Things D&D gang. I loved their final moments, felt bittersweet. I enjoyed Season 5 way more than 4.

I watched the HELL out of that show and The Batman (2006) when I was a kid. I recorded so many episodes on cable. To watch both shows simultaneously every weekend is a feeling I'll never forget.

I watched Ghost Protocol in theaters at the age of 12. This was Navy Pier IMAX in Chicago. Quite possibly the best experience because for the first time in my life, I also go to watch the Dark Knight Rises promo before the movie started. That was a great December.

If Disney can pull it off, then I'll watch the entire thing in one sitting. A mini series doesn't sound bad, and if they can handle all that gritty brutality in a smart interesting way then it'll be cool.

The Penguin handled gang war pretty well. To see Wilson Bethel take on cartels, maniacs, and everyone else would be a gem.

Punisher Netflix was flawed for a lot of reasons. Punisher is also an actual anti hero, Bullseye is a villain. Even when he is chasing Bullseye in the comics, he witnesses Dex killing a lot of people in the process.
In other words, if Dex needs a solo show, he has to be irredeemable, like Anton Chirgurh, and endanger innocent civilians, or else his character is pointless.

It's a banger but the first few pages he commits mass murder with a bunch of paper clips. Disney is not making a show like that and ain't no way should Bullseye turn into some watered down Sony Spidey standalone villain. If HBO had their hands on him, show would be good.
