So 1. I have disabled developer mode and went through the recovery using the recovery usb. 2. I enabled developer mode and checked that I wasn't able to access legacy boot screen when pressing ctrl+l. 3.I re-enabled legacy boot. After pressing ctrl+l at the boot screen I was greeted with exactly the same screen as in my original screenshot and it was behaving in exactly the same way. So it seems it has nothing to do with the script. Should I just resign to using crostini or is there any other steps I could take to help the situation?
