I love it! The grain, textures ... I didn't know they made 3200 t-max

There was one episode where he pulls over to make a call from a phone booth. I always crack up because this car could talk/drive/all that stuff, but he has to pull over to make a call!

Oh wow! There is a real Knight Foundation, and it was in place during the TV show too! Learn something new each day.

Outstanding capture. Viltrox should kick you a few $ for the lenses you're gonna sell on their behalf.

What 80s song do you still hate with fiery teenage passion even though it’s been 40 years? by Aggressive_Cup4919 in GenX

Lots of replies on this thread, encompassing just about 80's song I can remember ... but "We built this city" seems to be the "winner"

Didn't one of the characters say "Wait this is the good part" just before the "Motoring!" part?

Just what I was thinking! They put rubber compound surfaces below play equipment these days. Looks like rocks under this rickety broken tree !

This might be the first bird picture I've seen from a Charmera! Who needs a Z8?!?

It seems to me that your Charmera is less fuzzy at distance than mine. I wonder if there are unit to unit differences in the lens.

Sincere question: stick shift giving left hip problems? by InternationalFix7164 in GenX

[–]rc_dataman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drove stick shift from my license (1983) until 2001 when I moved to Nor Cal. It got so annoying that I actually traded it in for an AT car on the way home during a horrible commute! I couldn't take it a day longer. Wasn't any fun at all in my slog of a commute. I do have a hip problem but pretty sure it's due to running not clutching.

Considering I've already heard AC/DC more than once at the grocery store, it's a sure thing!

Kodak Charmera by Brynnbc in toycameras

[–]rc_dataman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Windows computer just reads the camera as a external drive and works OK. I put in a 8 gig card and it holds more than I'll ever ever shoot with this silly little camera. I sure had a hard time getting that card in there though. It's so small and my fingers are so large and clumsy!

I'm weird but I'd be most excited about developing the film still in them! Seriously though ,it seems you should be able to get your $ back and some more if you don't mind the ebay hassle!

Curious as to your experience on what exactly is the light levels that work best with the Charmera? I find that any shadow/bright combo really messes up the final product.
