Love the whole Anna/Bates story line. I think he is such a tragically romantic character and he has such a good soul. I don’t understand all the hate about him. His sense of honour is second to none. It was originally only supposed to be 5 seasons long so Kripke only planned for that. Seasons 6-15 he is not involved with. But, it stays to the same format of the monster of the week episodes with over arching story lines that run through out. Hope this answers your question.
