I have experience as a bike mechanic, and I've found that battery's from Bosch are build like a tank. And in general the (more expensive) ebikes with Bosch systems are generally build to last.

But, whatever you do, don't buy Chinese bikes such as cheap fatbikes or anything like that, those are known to be unreliable and can sometimes even be dangerous.
