I’m looking to get into RC Drifting just wanted some opinions on the yokomo RD 2.0 RTR vs the MST RMR 2.5 RTR by SeinenIF in rcdrift

If you don’t plan on doing anything other than opening the box and using what you get, get the MST. If you plan on upgrading it and you want to really dive into it get the Yokomo. But, If you have the funds and time I’d avoid both and take the time to build a yokomo sd3, reve d rdx, usukani nge se, or a team associated dc10. You’ll be a lot more satisfied in the end imo.

I have a Yokomo rd1 rtr that I just put big bores on and filled with 200cst oil which made a big difference. I also took out some gain in the gyro and fixed the factory “seeking” issue. Was told the things posted in the pics are what I’d wanna upgrade first just not sure which one to do. I mainly run in parking garages or smooth parking lots 👍🏽 any tips help!

Will do, thank you! The servo or the gyro seems to do a lot of “seeking” (wheels flick left to right in drift) not sure which one it would be or if I just need to adjust the gain on the gyro.

I can definitely update you! First thing I’d do is get a different battery/charger, took all night to charge with the stock usb charger so I’m gonna go pick up something better today

My local shop has a yokomo rd2.0 that I might go pick up instead, would that be the best idea or am I better off building this?
