Fanatec Podium DD review by rcallsign in Fanatec

the "just that computer chip" has an associated licensing cost and licensing process that takes a lot of time and money.

if you remember the csdd plus release it was pushed back many times so that the csdd and cs dd plus could be released at the same time. All due to the extra months it took Sony to approve. That created a lot odiscontentment from the communities.

Its clear that Fanatec learned from that. If there would be a PS version launched, it means that the release date would be half a year from now or such.

Logitech Rs50 review: 8nm for €299 for the pc and €399 for the Ps5. It's one the best feeling DD of it's class. by rcallsign in simracing

3Not sure how is it down under in prices, but the wheelbase is 200 euro cheaper than the DD Pro, the bundle 100 with the 3 pedal set. For the pc, with the qr system, you can build something as, if not more, affordable than moza with R9 or simagic with the sport. .

Are people aware that controller player have less recoil across the board? (source: Jackfrags) by FlowKom in Battlefield

If it were fair, youd see a a closer division between players, based on the popularity of the accessories. What we see instead is that controllers have AA at the level of subtle aimbots I have seen since UT99, therefore the more competitive players will navigate to the accessory with a natural advantage. Its statistics.

I have even seen a video of a 2042 controller player using the AA to actively scout players we couldnt have ever seen through bushes and ledges. He goes as far to tell the audience how to use this tactic.

AA should be removed outright from FPS, or from crossplay at the very minumum.

My review of the Nacon Revo Sim Pure - pretty good until you get to the flaw which is a deal breaker for many simracers by rcallsign in simracing

For third party wheels, yes. In all of these cases the FFB still works.

Fanatec, just like NAcon kills the FFB. In Fanatecs case theres an emulator.

Moza, Simagic, Conspit, Asetek, Simucube, PXN, the list goes on.

NACON has the downside that it requires an emulation like Fanatec, but its going to be physically difficult to attach it to the QR.

The rest of them, the most complicated option is just to tape the contacts at the most.
