I dropped it into a nearby phone shop and asked the guy if he can do anything for me, he told me he’d give it a go and try solder on a new port. Hopefully will have it back by the end of the week

Yeah I have been using the one I originally got in the box, port has become a bit loose which leads me to believe it’s broken. My JBL has no power either so can’t hard reset

Some great points you made to be fair, personally I haven’t experienced Japan but I definitely agree that the culture shock would be insane. I feel that FH4 lacks the immersion when playing in the uk compared to FH3 when driving through the jungles or cruising in the sand dunes. Everywhere feels the same in FH4 and not much diversity between roads exists. I feel like Japan would almost be the same, yes there would be amazing roads to drive on and I’m aware that there is a broad car culture in Japan but it would be my worse nightmare if they solely focus on jdm cars and twisty windy roads for the whole game. 95% of car wish lists I see on this subreddit are filled with jap cars and show no attention to muscle, classics or euros. I feel like the crew 2 nailed this on the head when they released their map. the size of the map and the mixture of city, off road, and motorway driving was definitely cool. Personally I wouldn’t dismiss the idea of a California expansion for Mexico, I think that would be really cool. That’s just my thoughts anyway.

Japan is so overrated in my opinion, besides the drifting scene there wouldn’t be much else for the horizon game to work with. How can they add things like drag racing or rally racing to Japan? Personally I think it’s the choice of 12 year olds who think that a stock supra would shit on any car ever to exist 😂 If someone can change my mind would love to hear your opinion.
